What are you doing now?
It is my onerous task to teach students how to create video games at West Scotland University. When I graduated from St Andrews I took a post lecturing in Dundee. My research field morphed to Virtual Reality. I led a research team that created a virtualisation of St Andrews castle as it stood in the 14th century.
I then spent time as a Visiting Professor in Virtual Reality in Gifu University, Japan. When I returned from this I startied the video games teaching in Dundee, which is still going strong. After a few years of this I got bored and took another post in Glasgow to develop courses to teach casual/indie games developers for hand-held devices such as the iPhone.
I run the new Celtic Games Industry group on LinkedIn and have just finished a Doctorate of Education at Edinburgh into the nature of knowledge in Computing Science.
