Business is an essential subject to the world and society since it creates jobs, helps expand the markets locally and internationally, and provides different types of services. The two most common types of markets in business are Business to Client (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B).

Successful application of big data tools, technologies, and techniques in B2B setting remains a challenge. Researchers and practitioners have widely remarked on the importance of Big Data across different industries, and they have revealed how Big Data and business analytics had grown exponentially over the past 18 years and how it has help to improve performance, sales and more. Despite this fact, the successful implementation of Big Data & Analytics (BD&A) it has a low rate, with only 24% of enterprises achieving the desire goal. This fact raises the question of why these companies are not implementing BD&A?

A second concern and question arise when most of the research in BD&A has been done in B2C business model when B2B is more than double in size than the B2C market. Why has big data uptake been lower un B2B than in B2C?
