Embedding Ethics into the CS Curriculum at St Andrews
“Computer, Digital and AI ethics” is becoming the new buzzword in Computer Science higher education across the world. Why should Computer Scientists care about Ethics and how will we address Ethics in a Computer Science degree here at St Andrews? This project aims to make Ethics a recurring guest star rather than a one-time cameo in the Computer Science curriculum at St Andrews. This project takes a case-study approach to explore ethics-related topics in all Computer Science modules with the help of Philosophy theories of Justice, Equality, Freedom, Democracy and many more.
