EyeTracking: A Gaze-based User Interface for Reading Applications
Could there be another way of interacting with our devices? One promising method is eye-tracking. This project aims to explore solutions to issues that this technology faces. This work investigates improving accuracy through multiple calibrators that use environmental factors. Secondly, we analyse gestures traced by your gaze to examine what makes a robust gesture.
Most mobile phones and laptops have built-in cameras, so if this technology proves to be effective, it could be widely distributed at no extra cost, yet open up new ways of using technology.
